Portfolio Berlin

Following the fall of the Berlin Wall and the peaceful systematic collapse which ensued, Berlin underwent a unique renaissance and has emerged as a center for contemporany art. The exhibition (at the Kunsthalle Rostock) showcases eight Berlin-based artists who have gained widespreas recognition in the past ten years, and whose work treads the thin line along the interface shared by painting and other media. Participating artists: Norbert Bisky, Peggy Buth, Katharina Grosse, Gregor Hildebrandt, Antje Majewski, Thomas Rentmeister, Thomas Scheibitz, and Amelie von Wulffen. Bilingual: German / English
