Helena de Bragança. I am Cuban

Traveling extensively in Cuba between 2007 and 2009, photographer Helena de Braganca (born 1978) sought to capture the nation´s undocumented lives, from prostitutes and transvestites to punk rockers and swingers. De Braganca´s lens temporarily transforms the alleyways, bedrooms and rooftops before her camera into both safe havens and stages.
