Rosalia Chladek (1905–1995) gave form to expressionism. She was the only free dance protagonist to develop her own system of modern dance education which is still taught today. The dance historian Gunhild Oberzaucher-Schüller and the dance pedagogue Ingrid Giel illuminate Rosalia Chladek´s significance.
