Torbjørn Rødland. A day in te life of...

In the limited edition series A day in the life of... photographers are portraying a day in their lives, fiction as non-fiction. Invited by Libraryman to initiate this monthly series, Torbjørn Rødland put together a sequence of more than forty pictures done with a digital point-and-shoot during a day of research in Tokyo, March 2008. The Norwegian photographer has a special interest in the complexities of Japanese visual culture.

A leading figure in Scandinavian photography since the mid-90s, Torbjørn Rødland has recently published two project books with SteidlMack. Last year´s volume is titled I Want to Live Innocent. A day in the life of... - is the first ever publication of Rødland´s snapshots.
