As one of the emerging powers in Asia, India is not only attracting international attention for her economic growth but also for her age-old culture and her new perspective on the world in the 21st century. This exhibition catalogue presents for the first time in Spain a large-scale collection of contemporary Indian art and culture. Alongside introducing a collection of contemporary Indian artists and their works, the catalogue also explores the exchange and influence of practice and aesthetics between India and the West. Numerous essays are also included of which a number have been translated into English.
