The philosophy of science and technology studies

Science and Technology Studies (STS) is a broad, interdisciplinary and rapidly-growing field that explores the relationship between science, technology and the multitude of ways they shape, structure and reorient our society, and our understanding of the world. This is the first book to lay out a general account of the underlying philosophical character, assumptions, and implications of STS and its relationship to traditional and contemporary philosophy.
