Georg Gatsas. Five Points

Inspired by the history of lower Manhattan still evident in its architecture and narrow streets, Swiss-born artist Georg Gatsas decided to create a photographic record of the area from his own point of view, as an artist living among other artists and musicians in Chinatown, 2007. This collection of nocturnal snapshots and portraits portrays the "downtown scene" in all its gritty, graffiti-covered glory. With a short text by James Fuentes.
