Synopsis: Recent Work compiles a small selection of sketches created for Spike Jonze´s film adaptation of Maurice Sendak´s Where the Wild Things Are. Using pen and ink, pencil, and colored markers, Geoff McFetridge interprets Sendak´s original characters for use in marketing graphics and title credits and creates beautifully patterned dreamscapes that convey a child´s sense of scale and order.
