Falk Richter has worked as a freelance author, translator and director at theatres and opera houses in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland and the USA. His plays include: Alles. In einer Nacht (1996); Kult - Geschicten fur eine virtuelle Generation, Gott ist ein DJ (1998) and Verletzte Jugend (2006), to name a few.
A married couple live in what appears to be an ideal neighbourhood, protected from the dangers of the outside world. But what happens when this utopian world becomes a new form or prison? Richter´s gripping play examines state control and self control and how the civic dream can turn into an Orwellian nightmare.
